Maurice Jordan – D&D AV Rock Star

Maurice Jordan – D&D AV Rock Star

Here at D&D, Maurice Jordan is our Audio-Visual Team rock star!

Maurice joined the D&D team to head up our Audio-Visual Installation & Audio-Visual Managed Services Division. His extensive experience and certifications in the AV field has brought our customers’ AV Presentation Systems into the 21st century!

Not only has Maurice impressed our customers with his stellar customer service and project management, he has also won them over with his knowledge and passion for designing and installing AV systems that give them the classroom experience that only a designed for education system can deliver!  At D&D, we understand the difference between a corporate board room, a public theater or home system, a multi-use room and a classroom — and Maurice (working with our Account Managers and Sales Team) does a terrific job providing design suggestions and installation techniques custom tailored for educational environments.

Before working at D&D, Maurice worked for organizations that partnered with such prestigious clientele as Apple, LinkedIN, Dreamworks, Del Monte and PG&E – where he worked on projectors, televisions and other media devices for office and meeting use.

Here at D&D he uses those skills to assist teachers in providing an enriching classroom experience for their students – using today’s modern and forward compatible technology, the students and educators can utilize the new interactive systems to meet their unique learning needs.

Maurice has always been fascinated by the AV world – starting back with his high school career. Not only did he manage and design lighting and sound for all of his high school theatre and event productions (actually using D&D provided AV products in his school) but he also was his father’s AV assistant at various jazz clubs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. After high school Maurice decided to continue his education at Heald College where he obtained his Associates’ of Arts degree in Information Technology. To further his education and skills, Maurice acquired his Light Speed Certification (Red Cat), Click Safety Certification (Construction and Heavy Machinery Operation) and he has recently become Chief and Extron Certified and will soon obtain his CTS-I Certification.

We are proud to have Maurice on the D&D Team. He is an inspiring, innovative and strong team player who has really added to the D&D goal of “Bringing IT Together”!
